When to have another??

I have a 14 month old at home and my husband and I are thinking of having another......soon. Meaning my son would be just over 2 when the new baby would arrive. I need some advice from moms who have kids this close. Are you glad you didn't wait? Do you wish you would have waited? Is it better to have a 3 yr old and an infant rather than a 2 yr old and an infant? My husband and I always thought 3 yrs apart was a good idea, but now I'm not so sure I want to wait that long. Thanks for any advice!
