SUBJECT: My 8 year old is out of control
HELP!!! I don't know what to do anymore with the total disrespect, rudeness and mouthing off that is directed at me by my 8 year old. I'm divorced, but I've stayed home with her and my 5 yr. old since they were born. Their father and I have been divorced since before 5 yr. old was born. The 8 yr. old tries to hit and kick me when she's out of control. She mouths off like a teenager already and I'm petrified of what the situation will be like when she IS A TEENAGER!! Spanking failed, and when sent to room, she keeps coming out. Someone please help!!!! I'm tired of the fights and my ex husband is NO help AT ALL!!!! I stay at home (watching kids) so I don't have the money for expensive therapists to take her to. I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions??
