To be perfectly honest, I got on the pill when I was 16 and due to the lack of remebering to take it, I got pregnant at 17. I wouldn't suggest it unless she is sincere about no babies. The shot does a lot of harm. I was on that for 2 1/2 years after I had my son. That messed up my body a lot! I went on the pill and everything was regular and the only bad side effect was the serious mood swings before my period. I hear the patch is good and it's better then forgetting about a pill, but I am not sure of the side effects. I would look into every method. They all have some side effects. It is just about which ones are worse and which ones you can use for a long-term method. The shot is not one of those. Hope my experience helps.
