You sound just like my husband and me. Our 4 month old is doing the exact same things that yours does. We haven't had an "official" diagnosis of reflux yet, but we have been doing some things to try to eleviate the discomfort.

1) Thickening the feeds by giving him some cereal prior to nursing. The Dr. said 1 Tbsp. for every ounce of breastmilk. I make it thicker and feed it to him on a spoon.

2) Keeping him propped up for about 30 minutes in a semi-reclined position.

3) Get a pair of industrial quality earplugs (I'm serious, I have a pair) to use during his crying (ours have turned to screaming) spells. It's hard to hold and burp a baby that's wailing in your ear. I'm about to have a nervous breakdown.

I think there are a couple of other things we've been doing, but right now, I'm fried and can't think of them. If I do, I'll post again. Please, let me know if you've found anything to help. I'm so hesitant to put Cameron on medication or have the test done, but I'm afraid we might have to.
