Hmmm... well, I agree, if its every weekend, all weekend long, that is a bit much for kiddos and for Dad!

But, if we're talking an occasional football (or other type) of game... I can't see any serious harm. In fact, our boys AND our daughter learned alot about sports, sportsmanship, sports history and more by watching games on TV with their Dad. They follow that up with trying to reenact what they see on TV out in the yard, and take the rules they learn to their neighborhood games. Even couch potato-ing can be a learning experience... and a little "down time" isn't always a bad thing either. ():)
