no offense to you, but it is as easy as you think and I am proof. You see, I was a smoker as well, a pack a day. When my husband and I decided to start trying to have a baby, I gave up smoking (and all tabacco products, patches, nicotine inhaler, gum, etc.) COLD TURKEY. I did this because I knew that it was the healiest thing for me and my future unborn child.
Smoking is an addiction, not a life necessity and people just need to make priorities...if my in-laws say that they HAVE to smoke around my son, then they will see less of him...that is the choice that they have made.
I'm glad to see that you are making a wise choice for yourself and your husband. Good luck to you.
