 | We were having a terrible time getting our 5 year old daughter to sleep in her own room. Every night was a battle (saying she was scared, etc.) and she would end up coming in our room and sleeping. We were at our wits end! To solve the problem, we took her to Wal-Mart and let her pick out a walkie-talkie (we paid $39.00 for a nice one!) and it has completely solved her sleeping problems. When we put her to bed, she takes the walkie-talkie with her and keeps it on by the side of her bed. Bedtime is now FUN, because she has a cool "toy" with her to communicate with mom and dad whenever she wants to. The first few nights she contacted us a couple of times to say "I love you", make sure we were there and to blow kisses, but within a few days, the contact became less and less. Bedtime is a breeze now because she feels safe. She sleeps in her bed all night now and everyone is getting a good nights sleep! |
