HEY, IM a 17 y/o girl and i have been on alot of diff,b/c .i hated to Depo shot it makes you gain alot of weightbut the lynell shot is a good one for a teen i think or u can try the new patch.but i think the lynell shot is best for a teen because you know when they get it and need it .with a patch u dont know it she has it on or not.my mom put me on the shot when she found out i was sexually active then i wouldnt get back on depo again so now i might be preg.i didnt want to get any fatter and now i am about to look like a beach ball if i am preg hope i helped some
