Your period can be rather unpredictable for a while when you stop depo. As you never stopped getting your period this will probably be less so than some other people. But depo could still very well be responsible for your late period, or you could be pregnant. Both are possibilites. I would suggest trying another home pregnancy test in a week, then if you still haven't gotten your period go back to the clinic in the two weeks that the nurse suggested and have another blood test done.
Some people concieve immediately after stopping depo but for the majority of people it takes some time for the depo to commpletely leave your system and your body to return to normal.
