SUBJECT: Teasing in school
My son is 8 years of age and he is a very sensitive and caring boy. He is a little on the chunky side. He is very active. He is well liked and he is involved in baseball, soccer, football and swimming. Kids do tease him about his weight but I have always been there to support him. But just recently he had to wear glasses. But we are having a problem. I just bought very expensive glasses and he lost them. I ordered a new pair, which are very expensive, and very fashionable, but he will not wear them. The kids tease him now and call him 4 eyes. I told him that I was teased in school but I ignored them. I told him that if they are teasing you then they are not really his friends. He looks very handsome in his glasses and I told him so. He said that moms will tell their kids anything to make them happy. I am at my wit's end and I do not know what to do. I spoken with the school and his teacher but they said no one teases him. Please help!!!!
