As a drspock.com expert (pediatrician), I routinely look thru what is posted on our message boards. As I read your post, I am assuming you are looking for some physician input. While I am unable to make a diagnosis for you without actually seeing your son, I can assure you that this is the type of concern that you should not hesitate to take to your child's doctor - since suspicions of blood in the stool of an infant should not be ignored. In addition, milk protein allergies in children are something that need to be followed over time, so I would recommend that if you do not feel you are able to discuss this with your current doctor, you find one who will give you the information and support you need.
