AUTHOR: -Dave | | | He has been in counseling for 5 years!!! We have tried several different counselors. In my opinion, the "convenient" thing is to keep sending him to counseling and dope him up on meds. I would love to hear about your knowledge of or experience with bootcamps. I'm sure it is very limited. A reputable boot camp is very expensive which would require a sacrifice on our part that we are more than willing to make. It also involves the parents and teaches them how to improve the way in which they negative handle situations. You are probably one of those leaches who allows the government to educate your children. Spending money on anything other than counseling or prozac is probably way too much to ask of you. I was hoping someone with some real experience with these places would respond instead of the "it's perfectly normal to be completely lazy and obnoxious at age 14" crowd. Good help us when your children are adults!!! | |  | |
