I absolutely agree, but when ever my childi's school talks about it, parents oppose it on the basis that they don't want to stiffle their child's individuality. However, I think there is really little individuality within the groups who see themselves as one thing or another. it just seems to highten the division between groups of kids and from some of the postings on this site, gives rise to a perception that some kids are descriminated against due to their dress.
