I agree. While I'd probably be hurt and mad that someone taken the name I had thought up myself, I've heard plenty of original names that soon become common. When I was in elementary school there were no girls named Journey or Skylar or boys named Camden or Keegan. Eventually names that sound nice and are not the usual ones you hear become less unique once they get out there. Even on sites like this people are sharing nice unique sounding names they've heard when someone requests suggestions. I've learned that lots of people like the same names. Try not to let it spoil any of the joy you feel for your child. Your child is unique and a blessing no matter how many people share his or her name.
