Hi, I was about 7 weeks pregnant when I started vomiting and had sharp pains. The admitting clerk at the ER told me it was morning sickness (which I nearly wanted to kill her for saying) but the ultrasound showed "sludge" in my gallbladder. Throughout the pregnancy I had what I felt was heartburn or occasional shooting pains. I had my gallbladder out when my daughter was 13 months old. They say that the onset of gallbladder problems is associated with hormone changes and also being overweight. Unfortunately, the symptoms only seemed to get worse for me. As the previous post suggests, I would stay away from fatty foods since the gallbladder has a hard time processing these foods therefore the liklihood of increasing your chances of attacks. Good luck to you!
