What did your wife say when you expressed concern? If you haven't discussed yet, you should ASAP. (not in front of Junior) I don't believe it's all that bad but I am surprised your son would still want to at his age. My only concern is "other people". Unfortunately, we live in a age where everybody is into our business. This type of "behaviour" may be misunderstood by some. (Your son mentions it at school and teacher reports it "just to be on the safe side".) You know it's safe but others may feel differently and it could cause unnecessary trouble for the family. My son is almost 5 and I shower with him less often now. It's almost time to stop all together. Your wife should do the same. Seven is just a little too old. Tell her how you feel.
