 | I have a 17 month old girl. When she was about 10 months I got her to sleep great using that "let them cry" routine. In 3-4 nights, she was going down great. Then she got sick one time, so I was caring for her more than usual and somehow we got out of our routine and never got back in. Now at 17 months, she will not go to bed. For awhile we were laying down together in my bed, then I move her once she was asleep. It got to the point where she would not lay down, she would play on the bed. So 2 nights ago, I started the "let them cry" thing again. I don't know if she is too old for this now???, but she cried for 30 mins 2 nights in a row. I thought the second night is suppose to get shorter. Tonight is the third night, we'll see. Plus, my mother is here tonight and will yell at me for letting her cry so long, and probably screw the whole thing up and I'll have to start over next week. My daughter is very, very stubborn, so if this does work, I'll let you know. If not, I may need major help. |
