 | Coming from a thin 17 yearold, I've experienced this kind of treatment. From my experience the girls are often jealous, (sometimes, they may have found a guy they have a crush on likes, persay your daughter, and they feel the need to break her down to feel more deserving) Tell your daugther to keep in mind that many people will have negative opinions about thin girls, or larger girls, or whatever, especially if they don't know us. Remind her to remain strong in what she believes and not to stoop down to their level. Being nice to anyone and everyone no matter who they are and treating them equally is the best way to avoid that kind of confrontation, even if they don't deserve it. |
