SUBJECT: i don't understand?
the first memory i have is when i'm two. my father and i went to scotland to visit his family. i brought my favourite book, one of those big thick books with two words a page (slight exaggeration, but you know what i mean) and my four-year-old cousin michelle was reading this book to me. i don't remember her reading... i think i was focussing on the fact that she could read. i remember thinking "i want to be just like her," because she could read. why would this stand in my memory so much? i can remember it so perfectly (memory is 13yo now).
also (apologies for the length!) but a lot of my memories seem to be dark. even happy ones are darkened. when i think of them it's sort of like a slideshow in my head, and the edges of it are darkened, and a greyness is on it. some are "normal" but?.... i don't understand? why are even my happy memories all coal-like and weird?
thx, K-T
ps- my mother asked me if i dream in black and white or colour? is there some sort of significance to what colour you dream in?
