 | My daughter is 11 and diagnosed with ADD, I put her on Ritilan 10 miligrams in January until June, the difference was remarkable! She went from C's and F's to her first A and some b's and c's . I was very afraid to put her on anything thats why i tried the least miligram. It helped her self esteem so much, she thought she was "stupid" and told me that almost everyday. I still feel horrible about giving her drugs, and am supposed to go back to her doctor for a prescription for Ritilan for her to start before school starts again. I have been reading everything there is on the subject and I just cant cope with all that i read, she should take it, she shouldnt, and so on. She is not hyper at all, do you all still recommend the coffee thing for a child who isnt hyper? Has anyone given their child Ritilan and have such super results as I did, and did you decide to keep them on it, or try an alternative. The doctor says there is a new one called concerta which is time released, because i had concerns with her entering junior high this September, and with changing classes and longer day, and homework it might be a good idea, but I am still nervous and dont have much time to make a decision. Anyone who can help me, with any advise would be greatly appreciated!! christine, ce8181@aol.com |
