Thank you for your response. I'm so glad I found this message board! My son has been in a special ed preschool since he turned 3 but they mainly worked on speech. They had him labeled "developmentally delayed" until just recently when they changed it to "autism" spectrum. Then I took him to a child psychologist who then diagnosed him with asbergers. I'm not aware of any social stories being done. How exactly do they go? Also, does your daughter have trouble with her large motor skills and coordination? My son can't even ride a big wheel much less a bike. He can't kick, or even run. When he tries to run, it's more of a gallop. I've considered getting him with an occupational therapist. Mary
