this is to all of the people who said that one of the ways to fix the problem is to ignore the girl. that will not work. one only has to be there firsthand to know that.
as a favorite parenting columist of mine once said, "She will not stop when it inconviences the tortured, but when it inconviences the torturer". When the girl teasing your daughter is REPEATEDLY punished for teasing, then she will stop. To accomplish this, please talk to the teacher, not the girls mother. they need more supervision.

PS, don't tell your girl to tattletale. the torturer won't get punished and it will get worse.
