How to help - after the attack

After the kids set off to school Wednesday the day after the attacks I sat and wondered, how can I help these poor poor people, as I sat praying I realized that I cannot be paralized by these events and my kids need me more than ever.

How you can help:
-tell your kids the truth to their questions.
-let them know that peace begins at home.
-teach them compassion.
-explain to them that beliefs sometimes make a person do things very wrong and not to hate because someone believes differently.
-teach them to learn from these tragedies - there is a lot of room for more love in this world.
- don't let them forget the lessons we are learning.
- go about doing your daily duties as a parent/person
- explain to your children that we have to fight to keep our country safe from these bad people.

We as parents can make a big difference to the future of this country. We are doing our country a great favor if we raise our children to love our country and people. Our job is as important as the rescuers in New York (God bless them!!!!!)
