Teen13..I understand what you're going through. I am also 13 and I'm going through the rebellious stage. I guess it started when my mom had a baby..She started neglecting me and I went through a whole bunch of changes...By 13 you should be experiencing pre menstrual symptoms and menstrual weeks..They really suck..and those are my worst weeks..I'm not out of control..but I was diagnosed with PMDD..and me and my mom were in a fight..and I chucked a shoe at her..thank god I missed..and I regret every moment if and when I fight with my mom. Now me and my mom are fine because I told her how I felt..and she designated one day a week..for just me and her..whether it was shopping or not..I don't mind taking my little sister..who is now a year old..so it has been going on for a year..and I love watching my sister grow up to be the smart little girl I know she'll be, I guess you could say I passed the rebellious stage quickly..and now I'm onto a very motherly stage..I can't stand my dad..The most me and my dad talk a week is an hour which is added up through out the week..I just can't stand him..I don't hate him..but he gets on my last nerve every waking moment of my life..I love spending time with my mom and my sister now..so just sit your mom down and talk with her..maybe she has other things going on which make her unable to pay attention to you.. I understand where your coming from..but she does have other kids that live on their own..maybe she is worried about them..I know my mom went through that when my older brothers moved out..but all you have to realize..much like I did..is that the world doesn't revolve around us and there are other people are parents have to care about..Organize a day for you and your mom to spend together and bond..Try your best not to fight with her..and work extra hard at school..maybe earn an A and show her the paper..Who knows? Maybe your english teacher will assign a paper for you to write..and you can tell the story of your rebellious stage towards your mother and how you coped with it..maybe if she reads it..she'll realize what she did and she'll feel bad about it..Hope I helped!
