SUBJECT: Need help with "Sight Words"
My 5 1/2 year old son will be starting 1st grade this fall and he received a list of 100 sight words during kindergarten. He is having a hard time with them.....does anyone have suggestions, or ideas on how I can make this easier on him and maybe a little fun? We are both becoming frustrated. He is a young first grader, turns 6 in October, but I don't want him to be behind the other students and feel bad about himself.
Please help!!
