Alright. You live in a wonderful country called America. This "brainwashing" you speak of is called the world of advertising. I hate to break it to you but this is how EVERY company sells things to people. They find something attractive to the human eye and use it to sell their product.
Sorry hun, but that's what makes the world go 'round. You're not as sheltered as you think you are, its affected you too. If you think it hasn't, you're fooling yourself. You might want to make a more educated argument next time.
