That's is a tough situation. It's so easy to unintentionally imply that you think they're ugly. Continue to tell your daughter that you think she's beautiful. By all means teach her about inner beauty, as well, but be careful not to convey a message of "sorry you aren't pretty like the others." Children take every word you say to heart. Make sure that she knows how much you love her and that she's special. Try special activities with her (and all of your children) that make them feel important, such as adopting a pet or volunteer work. A child who knows she's loved and special and important has a much higher self esteem, and will feel much better about themselves, and therefore beautiful.
