SUBJECT: add/adhd support
I have five children; 2 step and 3 biological that I care for. My 7yr old daughter has been diagnosed with add/adhd along with dyslexia. She was seen by a reg. educational diagnostician, her teacher, principal and a psychiatrist m.d. who specializes in this field. The problem I'm having is my ex is taking me back to lower child support since I recently remarried and he also disagrees with her being medicated. She is on Metadate cd every day and is doing well. Her dad is convinced that the medicine in the long run will eventually cause substantial risk to her health. I have the decision making rights but he's still pursuing the court issue. Help......
