Well, I think you did the right thing by not letting your son " hang out" with these neighbors. Around age 11 or 12 is whent peer preasure really starts to kick in and teens whole social life is about "being cool." So behavior like that can really be a big influence on kids without them or yu even really noticing it. So even if you decide to tell your son about this let it be known that he will probably just get mad but it really is better that you made that decision. Hope this helps.
