give him his med right after breakfast, also children need larger doses as time goes on which you did not say how long he has been on it, I did not inform my daughters school that she had been diagnosed with adhd and never blame any problems she has on it to the school. maybe you should ask if the problems are common in the classroom and if others behave the same way and be upfront with the teacher about the way you feel and i suggest that in the future you dont tell your sons teachers that he has adhd
