I have also heard similar stories. During the summer the Montessori school has a camp. I enrolled my daughter and so far she is having a good time. In the 1 1/2 weeks she's been going I see she has learned to play without asking me to play with her all the time. Which she used to do a lot before. Now she finds ways to keep herself entertained. Also she gets ready in the morning or for bed without me telling her to do so. All I really tell her is "it's time to get ready" or "it's time for bed" and she changes her clothes.
I don't know about the education part because they don't teachduring the summer, but we'll see. If all goes well and if I can afford a full year I'm sending her to Montessori for Kindergarten. Thanks for taking the time to answer me. I really needed it.
