SUBJECT: teenagers and drugs
I have a 17 yr old son who drinks, smokes pot, and I'm sure he is doing drugs...I spoke to him about it and he admits to the drinking and the smoking but says he doesn't do drugs. I want to believe him, but the way he's been acting and spending his pay check leads me to believe otherwise. I try to talk to him about it...but he tells me I'm over-reacting....my mothers instinct is telling me I am right! My problem is how do I get him to listen to me without having a confrontation? I want to help him now before it's too late...but I don't know how...I can't force him to get help he has to want this for himself...can anyone give me any tips on how to handle this situation?
