You have some really great points that I didn't make! I just wanted to add that when I was in high school, I dressed in guy's baggy jeans and t-shirts. My peers didn't really tease me or anything, but my own mother wanted me to dress more like a girl... by that she meant she would rather see me go to school in short, tight shorts and snug tank tops. I felt very pressured by my mother- not my peers or stars. I did not give in to her desire to see me dress this way and I feel a lot better about myself for that. I have great confidence in myself and I don't have to dress like anyone else to feel sexy. Being sexy is more of a state of mind and confidence than showing off bare flesh.
