SUBJECT: dairy allergy
My 20 month old daughter is allergic to dairy foods and has gi upset (diarrhea, bloating, abdominal cramping) as well as hives and eczema. There is a huge family history. At home and the sitter's, she is on a strict non-dairy diet, but there are times when other family members or well-intentioned friends give her foods with dairy. She is in pain all night. Has anyone else experienced these problems within your own family and do you have any advice?
