Who is more stressed? you or the kids or both?
Take some dry cereal and a juice with you in the car when you pick them up...turn off the radio and everyone just chill out on the ride home. Get in the house and everyone just lay on the floor or the couch...wherever..and relax for a few minutes. I can relate...been there and done that for years. Grandmother now and have offered this advice to my kids and their kids...it seems to help. Whatever is waiting on them upon arriving home...can certainly wait 15 more minutes...can't it?
