SUBJECT: 6 year old still in diapers
I posted a message earlier but have not received any advice.Our 6 year son is still in diapers. He will not even go close to the toilet.He likes wearing diapers and that concerns me.When he is wet he will even bring me a fresh diaper to change him.I tried to embarrass him about wearing diapers and plastic pants and I realize that was wrong.There are times that when he is wet and soiled he we slip off his diaper and plastic pants and just let them lie on the floor.Is this possibly a sign that maybe he wants to be potty trained?He has been to the doctor and there is nothing wrong with him. My mother says to humilate him into potty training but I know that is the wrong approach. If anyone has any ideas or answers please respond.At my wits end.
