| I also suffered from stones during my first pregnancy from weeks 23-37, and had a stent placed around 28 weeks. I was nervous too! I think from a urology perspective, this procedure is no big deal, but when you're carrying a baby it's easy to become worried. I had to go in for a replacement stent to boot! But you should know that my daughter, although induced 2 1/2 weeks early due to my pain, was born perfectly healthy. Bottom line -- it's really you that suffers (from pain and all the worrying!) Unfortunetely, I'm 21 weeks pregnant now, and just felt those too familiar pangs in the kidney just the other night. Ugh, I'm doing lots of research on how to change my diet pronto! My advice: Keep drinking water, and search for information about changing your diet. Best of luck!
