SUBJECT: Relationships Between Siblings and Adopted Siblings
Hi All
I am the youngest of four girls. I am the only one adopted, although this has never been a problem. There is only 4.5 years between my eldest sister and myself, which is a pretty small gap.
I would like to know if there are any people out there who either are either an adoptee or have an(any) adopted sibling(s), and what kind of a relationship they have. Do they feel being an adoptee or a sibling of an(any) adoptees make(s) a difference.
I am just curious to know how other people think and feel about the topic. I am interested to know how the non-adopted siblings feel, as maybe they often get left out when the topic of adoption is raised.
I don't mean to sound rude, but I am not really interested in hearing any 'bad adoption stories' unless they relate to siblings.
Thanks.
