SUBJECT: 3 yr old touching herself
My 3 yr old daughter was recently caught touching her privates at she laid in an empty room napping. Once she joined the other children, she started to speak about it, but caught herself and did not tell what she was doing. The care provider has now put her under supervised watch. This means she can no longer play with the other children with out the provider being present. I believe this is normal behavor. I am so angry that I can not even speak to the provider. She's not a monster, just a kid. Any comments? Am I being too lax or am I over reacting?
