SUBJECT: Second pregnancy, overweight with high blood pressure
I had a baby girl in October 2001, I am pregnant again. This time I have high blood pressure and am severly overweight, 292. My first pregnancy I was overweight 210 with normal blood pressure 105/60. I developed pre-eclampsia and have not been able to shake the high blood pressure since. I am scared as I am not sure if I will develope pre-eclampsia again. I ended up having my daughter 7 weeks early because of pre-eclampsia induced placenta abruption. Have any of you had pre-eclampsia with prior pregnancies and had normal pregnancies since. Any input will help.

Thank you
