Well, this is going to sound like a funny response - my daughter was born in 2 hours. Very quick - and obviously I didn't have time for drugs. I got to the hospital at 10:30 pm and she was born at 12:36 am - 15 minutes of pushing. It was the BEST experience of my life. Yeh, it hurt - but I was up and walking as soon as they had be cleaned up. It was great!!! Here I am pregnant with my second - due in September - and I'm scared. It's sad to say - but reading all of the msgs on the chat board has scared me once again for delivery. I know I'm going to be induced with this one because my dr is afraid I'm going to go quicker than the 2 hrs that it took for my daughter to be born. I'm going to try to go without the drugs again because my first experience was so wonderful - but I'm not sure what to expect with the induction. Good luck to you!!!
