Every womans body and cycle is different. Conceiving is half science and half luck and if she does everything "right" she still only stands a 25% chance of getting pregnant in any given month. Generally her most fertile time will be approximately 14 days after her last period. If she is serious she should start charting. There is info on this site and related links to tell her how to do that. Ideally she should have sex 2 days before she believes she will ovulate and continue to have sex every other day until at least 4 days past O. To maximize her chance of conception her partner should ejaculate in her while on top and she should stay on her back for 30-40 minutes after intercourse to allow gravity to assist the sperm. She should be taking prenatal vitamins NOW and if drinking or smoking should stop NOW ...good luck and baby dust to her:)
