SUBJECT: TOO YOUNG TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!!!!!!
Hello All!
My oldest daughter, 24, has recently told me that I am going to be a grandmother(I'm 47.. too young). Someone really should have thought of a better name, doesn't it make you sound old? She is married and happy! She didn't plan on having kids for a few years, but sometimes they can come un expected :)!

I love preparing for new little arrivals! I tend to want to help too much, which most people love but my family hates it! I always push them into letting me help them. I know that this is HER baby and HER special time and I don't want to make her crazy! Should I offer my help now or just when the baby is born(I will definately help then)?? My mom never helped me during pregnancy, but came out to see her new grandchildren after they were born. Is that what I should do? I don't really know my place. It's a time for her and her husband, but I want to help!!!! Any comments appreciated.

~Susan~
