SUBJECT: Ultra sound and nothing inside sac is visable
I have been having cramping w/ my pregnancy. I have been to ER 3 times now. First time my HCG levels were 120. Two days later I was back and levels were 435. Exactly one week later I ws back and they did a complete exam. My cervix is closed, HCG levels were 6990, did two ultra sounds
(vaginal and abdominal) it showed a sac but she could not see anything in it. It showed I was 5 wks and 1 day, according to my calculations I was 6+wks. Went back two days later and HCG levels had doubled again. Could I have a blighted ovum? Does anyone know if your levels will continue to double if you do have one? I need some honest straight forward answers please. I would like to know what's going on. Dr. wants to do another u/s to see what's up but as of right now has no answers for me. I am really concerned. Thank You
