SUBJECT: stepfather's prejudice.
My husband and I both have daughters from a previous marriage. His is 18 and mine is 17. They both live with us and are beautiful wonderful young women. They both have jobs and are always busy. The Problem IS my husband only complains about my daughter about everything she does wrong. For instance, yesterday my oldest step-daughter was visiting with our 3 small grandchildren for mothers day. The house was a catastrophy! The 18 year old had just come in from spending the nite with her friend, changed her clothes and went to work. The 17 year old (mine) ate some breakfast helped me clean upthe house a little and went to do her horses. My oldest step-daughter stood and WATCHED me clean the entire house! (vacuum, toys, bathroom, some dishes) Then my husband asked me why my daughter left without helping me clean the whole house! This happens everyday. He yells at me if she forgets a glass she was drinking out of in the living room. How do I deal with his constant complaining and prejudice? When I ask him why he only gets mad at her and never complaines about the other daughters he says they don't do anything that makes him mad and they always listen to him. HELP?
