dear Dave & alisha
I have a 28 month old daughter a we did the same thing when we moved but she went from toddler bed to full size bed and she was just like your little girl fine for a little bit then all of the sudden she would reply something about monsters and i we have been very stricked on her also but I have now found a 5 min bedtime book I read two stories from it and give her the choice of a stuffed animal turn a night light on and kiss her good night and she usually does pretty another thing is the more bundled they are the more secure they feel .I think they hit a very unsecure age and they are trying to find it with us I try to make bed time fun but she needs to understand boundries and that is really what the stories are for but you have to keep to only one a night and let her know when she stops playing and horsin around and starts going right to sleep that she start getting two then up it from there. the books i get are at the Sams club they are a little pricee if you had time put a book together with something that says like "your daughters name five minute bedtime stories" well those are all the suggestions i have other than don't give up and put her in bed with you if you would like to talk more about this i am not much of a computer person fill free to call shannon at 254-698-2276 but i will answer e-mail to at shannoneirin@yahoo.com
