Our boy was 12 mths old when we moved into a new house & it really upset him. He would start crying when we pulled up in the driveway & then just mope about the house. This went on for a good 6wks or so. It upset his sleep also. I think kids just don't like change. We are like you & have always had a v. ridgid routine concerning dinner,bath & bedtime. We just stuck with it & eventually all returned to normal - that was until the twins arrived LOL!! Anyway, I'm sorry i don't have any helpful tips. Don't feel bad about locking her door, we had to when we moved him from a crib to a big bed. It's not punishment, its bedtime. Fortunatly our twins slept thru' the hulabaloo he made & they were in the room next door LOL! We did use the control crying method when we locked the door & we had a few sleepless nights but it's been worth it. Good luck.
