Today I got my very first Mother's Day present from school. My daughter is 6 and in kindergarten. First thing when I get home from work, I run to her backpack and pull out her folder. I can't wait to see what she brings home. Today she made me a card. On the card was a picture of me and her holding hands roasting marshmellows. She simply put "Mommy, I love you. Happy Mother's Day". Of course, here come the tears in my eyes. I told her to come over and sit down that I wanted to talk to her. I told her I loved the card and it was beautiful. I said "Did you make this all by yourself?" She replied "Yes mommy, the teacher made me." I simply laughed then. I once again told her I loved her, it was beautiful and thank you.
