 | My parenting advice is rather simple: your child is a BIG person in a little body who just doesn't know the rules of this game we call "life". Treat him or her with love, compassion and respect, and set a good example. You'll be surprised at how effective that is!
The best advice my mother ever gave me sounds ridiculous, but believe me, it worked! She told me (while I was in labor) "try to fall asleep between contractions". I thought "yeah, right!" Well, it worked and I did.
I think sometimes our moms know more than we expect at the time ... and we, as moms, do too. Trust yourself ... you're doing just fine! |
