SUBJECT: Fear of losing teeth
My just turned six year old son is very unhappy about losing his teeth. Instead of being excited when people notice a loose tooth he get really upset about it. It is more than just a fear of pain, I know that is part of it, but even tonight he began crying at the thought of giving the tooth fairy his tooth. I told him she didn't have to take it, she would understand, but he was really upset about the whole thing. This is not his first tooth he has ever lost either. Although this is the first time he has been upset about letting it go. Any ideas, anyone have a similar experience? thank you
